Hilda Ballay Burlette passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2013 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of Mervin “Buddy” Burlette and the late Emmett B. Ballay. Mother of Beverly B. Pearman, Terrell J. Ballay, Cheryl B. Cobb, and Laurie M. Ballay. Stepmother of Mervin, Charles, Richard, Terry, Thomas , Kent , Raymond, Gene, Philip, and the late Betty and Keith Burlette. Daughter of the late Augustine and Rene Naquin. Sister of Thelma, Marjorie, Theresa, Madeline, Sarah, Bernice, Elise, Joyce, Shirley, Van, Francis, Rene Jr., Andrew, and the late Johnny, Daniel, and Morris. Grandmother of Christie, Brett, and Matthew. Great grandmother of Meg, Riley, Caroline, and Brooke. A native of Thibodaux , La. and a resident of Belle Chasse, La. for the past 67 years. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend a funeral mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 8968 Hwy 23, Belle Chasse, LA on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at 11am.
