Hilda Vincent Harrington entered into eternal rest on Monday, February 27, 2012 at the age of 82. Beloved wife of the late Herbert “Hugh” Harrington. Daughter of the late Leonce Vincent and Della Broussard Vincent. Mother of Derrell Harrington (Wife Colette) and Della Paige (Husband Don). Grandmother of Gabrielle and Gavin Harrington, Justin and Jaylyn Wallender. Great Grandmother of Emery and Ezra Wallender, Britton and Beckam Morrow. Sister of Clyde Vincent of Beaumont, Texas and the late Clifton Vincent and Elena Collins. Hilda was born in Port Neches, Texas, resided in Gretna, LA for 35 years and in Odessa, Texas for the past 7 years. She was a member of St. Cletus Catholic Church, a volunteer worker and Eucharistic Minister for Meadowcrest Hospital and a member of Telephone Pioneers. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Friday, March 2, 2012 from 9AM until 11AM. The recitation of the Rosary will take place on Friday at 10AM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Chapel on Friday at 11AM. Interment will be in Weslawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
