Hilliard Arbourgh, a retired Deputy Clerk of Court with Jefferson Parish Government entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 19, 2014 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of the late Marie Cascio Arbourgh. Son of the late Hilliard Arbourgh and Hazel Larkin Arbourgh. Father of Hilliard R. Arbourgh (Wife Debra), Alan T. Arbourgh, Arlene F. Schoener (Husband, the late Robert) and the late Steven A. Arbourgh (Survived by wife Cindy). Grandfather of Christopher Arbourgh (Wife, Michelle), Chad Arbourgh (Wife, Adrian), Corey Arbourgh (Wife, Stacie), Tatum Gardner (Husband, Donnie), Steven Arbourgh (Wife, Tiffany) and Timmy Arbourgh. Also survived by 11 great grandchildren. Hilliard was born in Detroit, Michigan and was a resident of Gretna, LA for over 30 years. He served his country while enlisted in the United States Navy for 3 years and he was a member of the American Legion Post 0329. A visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 from 8:30AM until 11AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11AM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
