Homer Grady Mooney

Homer Grady Mooney, age 83 entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 1, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Beverly Ann Delacroix. Son of the late Noel Mooney and Eliza Jane Byrd Mooney. Father of Tammy M. Miller, and John Zeringue Jr., Grandfather of John Zeringue III, James Miller Jr., Christopher Miller, Grady Zeringue, Rosetta Zeringue, Curtis Zeringue, and the late Judith Ann Zeringue. Great Grandfather of Hailee Park and Chloe Miller. Homer was born in Sanford, Mississippi and was a resident for 45 years in Belle Chasse. He was a member of the Plaquemines Parish Sheriff Posse and he worked at ODECO for many years. In lieu of flowers, a gift of love to the family would be greatly appreciated. A visitation will be held at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Friday, July 11, 2014 from 6pm until Midnight. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Saturday, July 12, 2014 from 8am until 9:30am. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Highway 11, Belle Chasse, LA on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 10am. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, La.
