Hugh Boyd Mccurdy, Jr.

Hugh Boyd McCurdy, Jr. entered into eternal rest on Thursday, August 29, 2013 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of the late Ruby Domangue McCurdy. Son of the late Hugh Boyd McCurdy, Sr. and Germaine Ganier McCurdy. Father of Hugh B. McCurdy, III and Wife Terrie, Patrick McCurdy and Maureen McCurdy Hillard and husband the late Jeffrey. Brother of the late Dr. James McCurdy. Survived by 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Hugh graduated top of his class at LSU. He is a past resident of Algiers, LA and presently a resident of Belle Chasse, LA. Hugh served his country while enlisted in the United States Navy. A visitation will be held at Our Lady of Wisdom Health Care Center, General DeGaulle Drive, Algiers, LA on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 from 8AM until 9:30AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Wisdom Health Care Center on Tuesday at 9:30AM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
