Hyman Louis Bartolo, Sr.

Hyman Louis Bartolo, Sr. entered into eternal rest surrounded by his loving family in his home on October 17, 2024. Beloved husband of the late Antoinette Rotolo Bartolo. Father of Roxanne Rawle (Greg), Terrilyn Connick (John), Hyman Bartolo, Jr. (Roxanne), Kelly Brown (David), and Karen Bourg (Dylan). Grandfather of Ramie Blanchard (Justin), Jenna Foster (Dax), Eddie Connick Jr. (Candra), Alexis Broussard (Joe), Hyman “Clay” Bartolo, III (Francis), Dustin Brown (Sarah), Corey Bartolo (Tasha), and Ciara Marx (Joshua). Great-grandfather of Reese, Molly, Cooper, Scarlett, Sophie, Caden, Emily, Linen, Lowen, Valentina, Posh, Aubree, Kole, Roman, and Brody. Son of the late Walter Bartolo and Marie Foret Bartolo. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  Age 87 years, a native of New Orleans, and resident of Harvey, LA. Hyman was the owner of Bartolo Supply and Hardware in Harvey. He was an avid racehorse fan, as a breeder and owner of thoroughbreds. He was also a member of the Jefferson Good Timers and the Knights of Columbus. 

Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LA on Friday, October 25, 2024 at 11 AM. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Visitation will be held from 8:30 AM until mass time. Memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Hyman’s name.
