Ida Mae Sevin Koenig

Ida Mae Sevin Koenig, native of Algiers,LA and longtime resident of Westwego, LA, went home to rest with Our Lord at the age of 68, on Saturday October 31, 2015 at 1:41 pm. Preceding her in death, her husband of 39 years, William S. Koenig, her parents Charles P. Sevin Sr. and Willa Mae Russell, and her brother Eddie V. Sevin. Her surviving siblings are: Charles A. Sevin Jr., Emelda Zar, Ellis J. Sevin, Delma Guadet and William T. Sevin. Ida is the beloved mother of Penny Allen (Ed), Kiesha Guillot (John), Cherie Pinkston (Steven), Tracy Darcy, Karen Gordon (Chris). She was also survived by fourteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends of the family and past employees of New Orleans Hilton are invited to attend her visitation at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Thursday November 5, 2015 from 9 AM to 1:30 PM.
