Ida Pitre Toups

Ida Pitre Toups passed away at her home, surrounded by her loving family, on March 29, 2011. She was 84 years of age and resided in Marrero, LA. Beloved wife of Irby Toups, Sr. Mother of Irby “Sonny” Toups, Jr. and his wife, Pam Balestra Toups. Survivors also include Normi and Barry Donewar and their boys, Barry, Jr., Nicholas and Cameron. Sister of the late Leola Dufour, Ray and Eddie J. Pitre, Jr. Daughter of the late Mary Elizabeth Faunce Pitre and Eddie J. Pitre, Sr. The family would like to extend special thanks and gratitude to Heart of Hospice for their kindness and compassionate care. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Friday, April 1, 2011 from 9 AM to11 AM.
