Pop was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend beloved by all who he came in contact with. He was always inspirational and supportive of his family, from attending the grandchildren’s ball games to hosting the best cookouts. He was known as the “Gumbo King” with a recipe everyone would fall in love with. He was also known for being an avid collector of coins and sports cards, having an extensive collection of each. But above all, he was a spiritually sound man who loved reading his Bible, spending time in prayer, and spreading the love and grace of God everywhere he went.
