Irby H. Toups, Sr.
January 10, 1922 — May 31, 2014
Irby H. Toups, Sr. passed away on May 31, 2014 at the age of 92 years. Beloved husband of the late Ida Pitre Toups. Father of Irby “Sonny” Toups and his wife Pam Balestra Toups. Brother of Hubert Toups, Gladys Savoie, the late Carmen Cheramie, Lester and Ulysse Toups. Son of the late Hector and Anastasia Gaudet Toups. Also survived by Normi and Barry Donewar and their boys, Barry Jr., Nicholas and Cameron.
He served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He later retired as a supervisor at Celotex.
