Iris Mae St. Amant went to her eternal rest on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at the age of 80 years. Beloved wife of Don Joseph St. Amant for 56 years. Mother of Donnell St. Amant Gilmer (Michael), Sharon St. Amant Menezes (Lewis), Jamey Robert St. Amant (Cindy) and Scott Joseph St. Amant. Daughter of the late Camille and Robert Maxwell. Sister of the late Anna Hannan and Cyril Trahan. Sister in law of Claude Trahan and the late Henry "Harry" Hannan Jr. Grandmother of Alyssa St. Amant, Manuel "Manny" Menezes, Christian Menezes, and Chanse St. Amant. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A native of Algiers, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA for the past 50 years. Relatives and Friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Homes, 2100 Westbank Expwy, Harvey, LA on Friday, February 20, 2015 at 11am. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 6pm until 10pm and again on Friday morning from 9am until 11am.
