Irma Fidelina Valerio de Castro

Irma Fidelina Valerio de Castro, was born in Puerto Plata, DR on June 17,1943 and entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at the age of 81 surrounded by family. Mrs. Castro was a native of the Dominican Republic and lived in Harvey, LA for the past 27 years. 

She was the beloved wife of the late Eduardo Castro. She is the daughter of the late Palmira Germosin Valerio and Carlos Valerio. Loving mother of Clara Castro, Eddy Castro, German Castro, Isidro Castro and Leonel Castro. Loving grandmother to 16 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 12th at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA. A visitation will be held from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm followed by a Mass at 6:00 pm. A celebration of life will immediately follow the service until 8 pm.
