Irvin Joseph Andre, Sr., a retired printer and carpenter, passed away on Friday, September 23, 2011. Beloved husband of the late Louise DiMarco Andre. Son of the late Etienne and Roberta Julia Andre. Father of Irvin Andre, Jr. (wife Kathy), Ronnie Andre (wife Cindy) and the late Harold Andre. Brother of the late Steve Andre, Wallace Andre, Laura Andre, Agnes A. Leonard and Ezola A. Hubble. Grandfather of Lori A. Ordogne, Scott, Lee, Ronnie Jr. and Brad Andre. Great grandfather of Avery Elyse Ordogne, Justin, Adam, Carlie and Blake Andre. Step-grandfather of Norbert and Scott Fabre. Mr. Andre was a World War II Veteran and a member of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. Age 96 years. A native of Gross Tete, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Monday, September 26, 2011 at 11AM.
