Isabel "Betty" Cheramie

Isabel “Betty” Cheramie passed away on January 25, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 62 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Cheramie Sr. Mother of Joseph Cheramie Jr. (Sally), Rachel Cheramie, Donnie Aragon Sr., Victoria Johnson (Dukey), Vanessa Brister (Kerry Lou) and the late Matilda Cheramie (Clyde Richardel Jr.). Sister of Jimmy, Jerry, Gary, Kenny and Freddie Aragon, Evie Holt, Tessie Brown, Katy Quintero, Brenda Truitt and the late Donnie Aragon. Daughter of the late Jim and Mabel May Aragon. Also survived by 13 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
She was a native of Hale Center, TX and resided in Marrero, LA. She worked for many years at Dollar General and will be missed by all who knew her.
