Isaiah Smith

Isaiah Smith peacefully entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at the age of 76. Survivors include his daughters, Yolanda Smith Butler and Michelle Smith Davis; sons-in-law, Irvin D. Butler, Sr. and Odell Davis; and one brother, Wycliff Robertson of Baton Rouge. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Isaiah is preceded in death by his parents, Maragrett Jones and Will Smith; and his grandparents, Doretha Jones and Dorsey Jones. Isaiah was a Veteran in the United States Army. He worked for several years for Godchaux’s Warehouse, St. Anthony Elementary School in Gretna, LA and for Drillers Electric as an Electrician Technician until his retirement. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Friday, June 19, 2015 from 6PM until 9PM. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Saturday, June 20, 2015 from 8AM until 11AM. A private Funeral Mass and Interment will be held.
