Jacqueline Hanemann Juge

September 19, 1939 — January 4, 2016

Jacqueline "Jackie" Hanemann Juge, a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Terrytown, LA, died Monday, January 4, 2016 at the age of 76. Beloved wife of Roland Juge for 54 years. Loving mother of Christopher Juge (Elizabeth), Gregory Juge (Kelly), Matthew Juge (Sharla) and George Juge. Grandmother of Katheryn Valdejuli, Gregory Juge II, Gavin Juge, Christopher Juge II, and Charles Juge. Sister of Lambert "Buddy" Hanemann, Dottie Mallerich, Edward, David, Eugene and Felix Hanemann. Daughter of the late Odette Moule' Hanemann and Lambert Hanemann. Mrs. Juge's joy and pleasure was being an artist in Louisiana. At an early age, she studied at the New Orleans Museum of art and continued her art education through high school and Tulane University. Jacqueline was active as a Graphic Artist for the New Orleans Public School Board as a pioneer in instruction by TV, also designing invitiations for Mardi Gras Balls, and doing art for newspapers, magazines and TV commercials. She was an active member in the West Bank Art Guild and served on the board of New Orleans Art Association, and as president of the Louisiana Watercolor Society. Her art was exhibited in museums in New Orleans and France. Jacqueline continued to enjoy teaching Art through the People Program of New Orleans where she was again able to share her love of art with so many more wonderful people.

Funeral Services were held privately.
