Jacqueline "Jackie" Bourgeois Morlas passed away on August 1, 2024 at the age of 90. Wife of Victor "Butsy" Morlas, Jr. Mother of Victor Morlas III (wife Kathy Vidrine Morlas) and Gary Morlas (wife Nikki Songy Morlas). Grandmother of Katy M. Shannon (husband Robin), Holly M. Garcia (husband Martin), Amanda Morlas and Eric Bishop (wife Kyrstyn). Great Grandmother of Evelyn, Francois (Frank) and Theodore (Ted) Shannon, Lillian (Lily) and Benjamin (Ben) Garcia, and the late Saoirse Bishop. Preceded in death by her parents, Hendrix "Brother" Bourgeois, Sr. and Bertha Duhe Bourgeois; her brothers Hendrix "Eppie" Bourgeois, Jr. (late Joyclen), Ray Bourgeois and Baron Bourgeois, Sr. Sister of William "Boo" Bourgeois, Sr. (late Julia), Sandra B. Vegas (late Ray) and Dewey Bourgeois (Maryanne). Sister-in-law of Simone "Monie" Morlas and the late Noel "Buck" Morlas, Sr. (late Mary Joyce). Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 10:30AM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, Louisiana.
