Jacquelynn "Jackie" Blanchard

Jacquelynn “Jackie” Blanchard passed away on July 3, 2024 at the age of 79. Beloved sister of Elaine Marie Blanchard, Michael J. Blanchard Jr. (Deborah), and the late Wayne Blanchard. Aunt of John Parsons, Heather Steen (Mike), Jason Parsons, Kevin Blanchard, James Parsons (Shanda), Julie Abston (Billy), Kelly Overby (Jay), and Bryce Parsons. Also survived by great-nieces and nephews along with other relatives and friends. Daughter of the late Hilda Lee Magee Blanchard and Michael Joseph Blanchard. 

Jackie graduated from West Jefferson High School, Class of 1963 and from Charity School of Nursing in New Orleans. She worked at area hospitals, including Jo Ellen Smith Hospital, Baptist Hospital, and Meadowcrest Hospital.
