James J. Autin Sr. passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at the age of 82 years. Beloved husband of Betty Plaisance Autin for 63 years. Father of Debbie Autin Sandras (R.J.), James J. Autin Jr. (Patricia), and Poochie Autin (Susan). Son of the late Malize Orgeron Autin and Marcel Autin. Preceded in death by 15 brothers and sisters. Grandfather of Ray Sandras (Kellie), Raina Boudreaux (Mike), Rachel Palmisano (Tony), Nicole Chiasson (Bert), Courtney Autin, Janelle and Jessica Autin, Donielle Lambert (Thomas), and Delicia. Great grandfather of Layna Santiny, Macy Boudreaux, Raya Boudreaux, Gracie and Chloe Chiasson, Karissa and Taylen Lambert, Ross Sandras Sr. (Jamie), Rayven and Jade Sandras, Brittany and Madison Sanchez, Toni and Caleb Palmisano, Keidel and Dareil Boudreaux. Great Great Grandfather of Ross Sandras Jr. He was a native of Crown Point, LA and a resident of Westwego, LA for the past 59 years. Relatives and Friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at 1pm. Interment, Our Lady of Prompt Succor Mausoleum, Westwego, LA. Visitation will be held on Wednesday morning from 9am until 1pm.
