James H. Bonnette

James Hoyt Bonnette entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of the late Mary Ellen Bonnette. Loving son of Helena Brouillette Bonnette and the late Kermit Bonnette. Loving father of Julie Kerr Mark (Husband, the late Brian) and James Mark Bonnette. Grandfather of Jenna, Diana and Taylor Mark. Brother of Nona Fay Brouillette (Husband Ronald) and Brent John Bonnette (Wife Susan). Companion of Arlena “Dell” Caudle. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to his caretaker, Jacqueline Nicholas as well as the Doctors and Staff of Our Lady of Wisdom Health Care Center for their love and care given. James was born in Marksville, LA and resided in Gretna, LA for the past 48 years. He worked as a Geologist for Exxon and retired as a Geologist for CNG. James was a loving husband, son, father and grandfather. He was an avid golfer and LSU and Saints Fan. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Saturday, April 6, 2013 from 10:30AM until 1PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 1PM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
