James “Bo” Joseph Boudreaux, Jr. entered into eternal rest on August 11, 2022. Beloved husband of the late Lelia Pitre Boudreaux. Father of Christopher Boudreaux (Lori), Stephanie Boudreaux, Jeffery Boudreaux (Ingrid), and Kelly Boudreaux (Gina). Grandfather of Dylan Boudreaux (Britni), Tyler Boudreaux (Jasmine Simon), Zachary Boudreaux (Emily), Andre Boudreaux, Giselle Boudreaux, Erika Luening (Ryan), and Mason Boudreaux. Great-grandfather of Kinsley, Harper, Sawyer, Rori, Briggs, Ezra, Remy, Riley, Nolan, Beau, and Brennan. Son of the late Agnes Brown Boudreaux and James J. Boudreaux, Sr. Brother of Glen P. Boudreaux (Jodi) and the late Beverly Strange, Jean Leonard, and Terry Trusty. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. The family especially thanks his companion Marilyn Wilson, his caregiver Kelly Vernor, and the staff of Heart of Hospice for their care and support. Age 83 years and a lifelong resident of Gretna, LA. James “Bo” was a graduate of Holy Name of Mary High School and proud 1955 State Football Champion. He spent his career as an electrical contractor and owner of Heritage Electrical Company Inc. in Gretna. Bo was an active member of Veterans Group No. 1 after proudly serving his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was an avid sportsman, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. He will be deeply missed by all.
