James Tracy "Poppa" Delahoussaye, born on October 5, 1940 in Delcambre, LA, passed away in Franklinton, LA on July 12, 2012 at the age of 71. A proud resident of Plaquemines Parish, Tracy retired as a supervisor from the Plaquemines Parish Sheriff's Office after 20 years of service. He then went on to work for the Plaquemines Parish Government before locating to Franklinton, LA where he lived the last 7 years of his life. Son of the late Evelie "Big Del" and Thelma Delahoussaye, Tracy is survived by: his wife, Thecle Armstrong Delahoussaye; children, Keith Delahoussaye (Frannie), Tracy Delahoussaye, and Cissy Delahoussaye Istre (Dan); grandchildren, Ashley Despaux Loga (Brad), Keith Delahoussaye, Jr., and Alyssa Istre; great granddaughter, Lexi Loga; sisters, Brenda Euper (Teddy), Patsy Richard (Albert), Vicky Everage, and Libby Simmons (Jerry); brother-in-law, Murray Armstrong (Charlene); sister-in-law, Cindy Olds (Shorty); and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
