James "Jim" Dendy

James A. “Jim” Dendy passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at the age of 64 years. Beloved husband of 37 years to Karen Bush Dendy. Father of Hayley Dendy Richard (Lester Joseph “L.J.” Richard, III), Jared A. Dendy MD (Marcella Houser MD) and Gregory Wood. Son of the late Mary Isaac Dendy and James Edward Dendy, Jr. Brother of Larry Dendy and Brenda Dendy. He is also survived by his granddaughter, Ava Richard and one expectant grandchild. Jim was retired from Bellsouth of 35 years and was employed by ITC Service Group Inc.
He was born in Vicksburg, MS, resided in Gretna, LA and was the Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 796 in Gretna. His passions in life were fishing, woodworking, and spending time with his granddaughter, Ava.
