James Peter Graffeo, Jr.

James Peter Graffeo, Jr. peacefully entered into eternal rest on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Maxine Graffeo. Son of the late James Peter Graffeo, Sr. and Leona Saltamacchia Graffeo. Beloved father of James P. Graffeo, III (Wife Amy). Loving brother of Jean Fisher and Gail Fisher. James was born in New Orleans, LA and was a resident of Marrero, LA. He was a life member of the NRA. He became a Radio Telegraph Operator on November 18, 1959. In 1958 he became a member of the Auxiliary Police of New Orleans and in October of 1984 he earned the Rank of Captain. James retired after 31 years of service. James served his country while enlisted in the United States Air Force and he was a Pilot in the Civil Air Patrol. He thoroughly enjoyed hunting and fishing. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 from 10AM until 11AM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11AM. Interment will be private.
