James "Chuck" Guillory, Sr.
December 30, 1940 — July 9, 2016
James “Chuck” Guillory Sr. passed away on July 9, 2016 at the age of 75 years. Beloved husband of 51 years to Dora “Eileen” Rodriguez Guillory. Father of Donna Guillory, Deborah G. Ortego and James S. Guillory Jr. Brother of the late Marie Gauthier, Loyston Guillory, Riley, Daniel and Lester “L.G.” Guillory Jr. Son of the late Annette Ducote Guillory and Lester G. Guillory Sr. Also dear to his heart and much loved, his beloved grandchildren.
Chuck served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He later retired, after over 30 years of service, as a pipefitter from the New Orleans Dock Board, Gang 57 and was affectionately known as “The Mule”.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 from 10 AM to 1 PM. A Funeral Mass will follow in the Funeral Home Chapel.
