James "Jimmy" Clark Mcgrew, Sr.

James “Jimmy” Clark McGrew, Sr. entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at the age of 75. Beloved husband of 53 years to the late Madeline Taravella McGrew. Loving and devoted father of Julie McGrew Olsen (Chris Olsen), James “Jimmy” McGrew, Jr. and Joey McGrew (Kimberly). Son of the late Gladys and Elix Plaisance and Noah McGrew. Son-in-law of the late Johnny and Clelie Taravella. Grandfather of Brittani McGrew Milford (Cody), Cody Olsen, Hannah McGrew Creacy (Brent), Ethan Olsen, Abigail Olsen, Tanner Olsen, Chloe McGrew, Zachary Bauer and Devin Bauer. Great Grandfather of Harper Creacy and Bowen Milford. Brother of Marietta McGrew Spearman. Brother-in-law of John Taravella, Jr. (Rosemary), Joycelyn Taravella Montagnino (Loreto) and the late Alvin Taravella (the late Charlene). Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Jimmy graduated from West Jefferson High School in 1958. He was a lifelong resident of Harvey, LA.
