James "Richie" Mcguire

James “Richie” McGuire, Jr. passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at the age of 34. Beloved and loving husband of Kate Armstrong McGuire for the past 2 years. Beloved son of James “Jimmy” McGuire Sr. and Sheila McGuire. Father of Evan Vice and Mason and Addison McGuire. Brother of Amy McGuire Palacios (Peter). Grandson of Mose Whitney Beach, Rilla Mae Beach and the late John Samuel McGuire and Elizabeth McGuire. Uncle of Amaya Palacios and Samuel Palacios. Son in law of Earl Armstrong, Jr. and Lynn Armstrong. He was self employed, working with his dad, at J & S Trucking in Buras, La. He served as a Sergeant in the Louisiana Army National Guard. In the 205th Engineering Battalion, he served a term in the Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. James was born in Marrero, LA and was a resident of Buras, LA for the past 34 years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Saturday, May 5, 2012 from 10AM until 1PM.
