James Richard "Ricky" Nichols Sr.

James Richard “Ricky” Nichols Sr. passed away on August 17, 2015 at the age of 48 years. Beloved father of Kelsey Monfrey (Mason), James Richard Nichols Jr. and Kasey Poole (David). Grandfather of Liam, David, Alexis and Aliayah. Son of Gayle Ford Nichols, Jimmie A. Nichols and step-son of Wanda Dupre Nichols. Brother of Tammy Nichols and Kenneth Nichols. Uncle of Chase, Blaze, Cole, Courtney and Hannah. Also survived by many other loving family members and friends.
Ricky was a devout family man who loved spending time with his family and friends. He was an avid sportsman who followed the Saints, L.S.U., Nascar and most any sport. His favorite time of year was Mardi Gras when he had a chance to party with his family and friends. He will be sadly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Monday, August 24, 2015 from 9 AM to 1 PM. Services will follow.
