James "Leroy" Ziegel Sr.

James “Leroy” Ziegel, Sr. entered into eternal rest on May 14, 2024. Beloved husband of the late "Nikki" Miriam McPherson Ziegel. Father of James Ziegel, Jr. (Kelly) and Danielle Z. Hansel (Curt). Grandfather of Abigail Ziegel, Joshua Ziegel, Grace Ziegel, and Blaine Ziegel. Son of the late John Ziegel and Eva Vineyard Ziegel. Brother of Charlie Ziegel (Gayla), and the late Robert Brown (Deanie), Mildred Rowell, and J.L. Ziegel. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Age 79 years, a native of New Orleans, and resident of Avondale, LA. Leroy was a retired, proud union sheet metal worker. He was an avid pool player, and greatly enjoyed playing chess.
