Jane Ann Bongard

Jane Magreevy Bongard passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2014. Beloved wife of the late John Joseph Bongard. Mother of the late Dennis E. Riley and grandmother of two. Daughter of the late Dennis E. Magreevy and Helen Foley Magreevy. Sister of the late Helen M. Claassen and Edwina M. Stapler. Aunt of Ben Claassen (Kathy), David Riley, Kaye Cornay, Carol Giardina, Marsha Cassagne, and Joan Usner. Special thanks to her caregiver Alfreda Augustus. Age 93 years and a lifelong resident of New Orleans, LA. She was a laity helper at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church and a volunteer at Meadowcrest Hospital. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Parlor of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 1300 Vallette Street, Algiers, LA on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at 11 AM. Interment St. Bartholomew Cemetery, Algiers, LA. Visitation will be Tuesday morning from 9 AM until funeral time.
