Jane Gaudet passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on January 11, 2024. She was born on May 9, 1943 in Pensacola, Florida to Doyle and Lethea Milstead. She is survived by her children, Jan Ingram (Chetti), Anthony Brown, Laurie Vincent (Timothy) Denise Turberville-Guerrero (late Gabriel Guerrero), Rickey Gaudet (Lediana), Jody Gaudet (Sherry), Robin Thibodeaux (Brian), Stacy Gaudet, 13 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and one sister, Joan Favors. She is preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband, Ray Gaudet. Jane retired from Avondale Shipyard. She also worked for Brown & Root Construction and American Cyanamid. She and Ray were also the owner/operators of Treasured Images. Jane and Ray enjoyed traveling, going on cruises and going to the casino. She loved to spend time with family and friends. Our family would like to thank the Ochsner Oncology team and St. Catherine’s Hospice for their compassionate care. A special thanks to her primary doctor, Joseph Miceli, M.D. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., on Friday, January 19, 2024 at 11am. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 5pm until 8pm and again on Friday morning from 9am until 11am. Interment, Restlawn Park Cemetery, Avondale, LA. Officiated by Pastor Larry Steib.
