Jane Ellen White Olsen

Jane Ellen White Olsen passed away on Friday, June 29, 2012 at the age of 66. Beloved and loving wife of 47 years to Loy Olsen, Jr. Daughter of the late Lilburn and Emma Lee White. Sister of the late Richard White. She graduated from Southeastern University in 1968. Jane is a retired school teacher with Jefferson Parish School Board after having taught 35 years. She is a 1964 graduate of Buras High School. She is a native of Poplarville, MS and a resident of Terrytown, LA for the past 37 years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Thursday, July 5, 2012 from 11AM until 1PM. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday at 1PM. Memorial Interment will be held in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ella Pittman Elementary School, 3800 13th Street, Harvey, LA 70058 in Jane’s memory.
