Janet Louisa Skinner Linam

Janet Louisa Skinner Linam passed peacefully on Sunday, May 24, 2015 at the age of 94. Janet was born on August 28, 1920 in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada to the late Si Angelo and Susan Irving Skinner. Beloved wife of the late Malcolm Linam and also preceding her in death is her daughter, Susan Linam. Survivors include her loving children, Denise Linam Hamilton (Donald), Patricia Linam Becnel (Richard) and John Linam; grandchildren, Richard Jr., Joseph, Christina and Christopher; great-grandchildren, Amanda, Autumn, Samuel, Annika and Yahane.
She was a devoted homemaker and loving mother who enjoyed gardening and Bingo and in her younger years, camping and fishing across the country with her family and her beloved Malcolm.
The family extends their gratitude to the staff of Marrero Health Care and Heart of Hospice for their care and compassion.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Saturday, May 30, 2015 from 11 AM to 1 PM.
