Janet Meilleur Terrase

Janet Meilleur Terrase, a native of New Orleans passed into her Heavenly Home on Monday, July 24, 2023 at the age of 88.  She was a resident of Baton Rouge, LA since 1993. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to many.  She is survived by her two sons, Leon Terrase, Jr. (Connie) and Ricky Terrase; her daughter, Cindy Miller (Todd) as well as 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Leon Terrase and her daughter, Cathy Bardwell (Survived by Dennis).  She will be remembered for her passion to teach Bible to children and to share the Gospel of Christ to anyone she met.  Family and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Friday, July 28, 2023 from 12:30PM until 1:30PM.  Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 1:30PM with Pastor Larry Miller officiating.  Interment will be held in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.  Family and friends may offer condolences at mothefunerals.com.
