Janette Bernice Trembus, age 81, passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2012. Born in Waterford, Ontario, Canada on June 9, 1931, having lived most of her life in the Chicago area, she had resided in Belle Chasse, LA since 2002. Daughter of the late John Zywicki and Bernice Wegrzyn Zywicki. Beloved wife for 56 years to the late Alexander A. Trembus. Mother of Marcia Kraus and Margaret Hrdina. Mohter in law of William O. Kraus, III and George Hrdina. Sister of the late Alred Zywicki, and survived by siblings Alice Jagodowski, Edward Zywicki and Leonard Zywicki. Grandmother of William O. Kraus, IV(Emily Brinkmeyer), Emily B. Jordan (Nicholas Jordan), Jason E. Kraus (Samantha Kraus), and Stefan G. Hrdina. Great grandmother of Andrea Jane Kraus, Elinor Grae Kraus and Mason Kent Jordan. Janette loved all animals, and was most passionate about horses. While in the Chicago area, Janette was an avid horse woman, riding, showing and fox hunting her horses. She was a member of the Oak Brooke Hunt Club. Janette was a longstanding faithful member of St. Walter’s Catholic Church in Roselle, Illinois. Special thanks to the staff of Riverbend Nursing and Rehab in Belle Chasse, for their care and compassion the last six years. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Visitation at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 8968 Hwy. 23, Belle Chasse, LA on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at 12:30PM, followed by a Funeral Mass at 1:30 PM.
