Janice Schneider Bairnsfather passed away on May 26, 2016 at the age of 82 years. Beloved mother of Cindy Duet (Ken), Mary Beth Rico (Paris Carter) and Bernadette Erler (Jessie). Grandmother of Catherine, Nicholas, Julie, Rita, Merlin Jr., Danielle, Ruby and Ben. Great-grandmother of Savannah, Kurtis, Mercedes, Joylin, Giouliana, Cameron, Anna’ Lee, Charles V, Tristan, Liam, Payton, Paris, Lilli, Cohen and Lucas. Sister of Donald Schneider (Cookie), Lynn Schneider (Linda), the late Clarence Schneider (former wife, the late Shirley) and the late Betty Trocchiano (the late Peter). Daughter of the late Clarence and Gladys Chamel Schneider. Former wife of the late Hansell J. Bairnsfather. Aunt of the late Collette Cure and survived by many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was devoted to her family, friend to many and will be sadly missed.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church in Algiers, LA on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at 11 AM. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Monday from 5 PM to 9 PM, resuming at the Church on Tuesday from 9 AM to 11 AM.
