Janice Hoorman Maronge

Janice Hoorman Maronge passed away on July 3, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. She was 69 years of age. Beloved wife and best friend of Anthony J. “Tony" Maronge Sr. Mother of David M. Creppel and Janell Creppel Mills. Stepmother of Kirk A. Maronge. Grandmother of Cohen, Brooke, Julian, Kirk II, Madison, Maxx and Zaine. Great-grandmother of Chloe and Caryss Creppel. Sister of Phyllis Hoorman Caldarera (Salvador), Kenneth Hoorman Sr. (Betty), and loving aunt of a host of wonderful nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late Louis Hoorman and Lenor Chandler Hoorman. Janice was born in Gretna, LA and resided in Marrero, LA For the past 45 years. She graduated from West Jefferson High School in 1963 and later retired from the Jefferson Parish School System after 23 years of service. The family would like to thank Compassus Hospice and a special thanks to Laura & Jamie for their loving care.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Monday, July 7, 2014 from 10 AM to 1:30 PM. A Funeral Mass will follow.
