Janice Gros Richoux entered into eternal rest on October 4, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Gerald Richoux I. Mother of Ricky Richoux, Scott Richoux (Keri), Gerald Richoux II (Amy), Cherie Naquin (Dennis), and the late Troy Richoux. Grandmother of Kayla Richoux, Scott Richoux II, Christian Richoux, Halli Richoux, Alyssa Richoux, Zachary Richoux, Luke Richoux, and step-grandmother of Austin Naquin, Paige Naquin, and Morgan Naquin. Great-grandmother of Scott Richoux III and Adriel Richoux. Daughter of the late Albert Gros and Louisane Hartman Gros. Sister of the late Elizabeth Dunn (late Joe), Walter Gros (late Charlie), Roland Gros (Ramona), Landry Gros, and Al Gros (Kathy). Godmother of Tina Haley, Christina Lauricella, Christopher Boudreaux, Robbie Adams, Melanie Dimler, and the late Todd Delaune. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. Age 74 years, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Marrero, LA. Janice was a loving wife, mother, and devoted grandmother. She was a faithful parishioner of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She loved listening to music, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Monday, October 10, 2022 from 5 PM until 9 PM. Visitation will resume Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Larose, LA from 9 AM until Funeral Mass time at 11 AM. Interment Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Cemetery, Larose, LA.
