Jarret Jude Polkey

Jarret Jude Polkey, age 41, a lifelong resident of Lafitte entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 23, 2016. He is survived by his loving wife Rachelle Boudreaux Polkey and his adoring son Gage Polkey. He is the son of Charline Belsome Polkey and the late Earl “Gunny” Polkey. Brother of Earl G. Polkey (Monica). Brother-in-law of Ryan Boudreaux. Son-in-law of Linda and Willie Boudreaux. Beloved friend of Rickey Matherne, Jr. and Garrett Herberg. He is also survived by a host of loving family and friends.He was a gentle giant with a big heart willing to help anyone in need. He also loved hunting, fishing and swimming with alligators. Family and friends also employees of Airboat Adventures, Bridge House, Grace House and West Jefferson Medical Center are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Monday, March 28, 2016 from 9AM until 1PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Lafitte, LA on Monday, March 28, 2016 at 1:30PM. Interment will be in St. Pius X Mausoleum, Crown Point, LA.
