Jeanette Marie Bitoun Freeman, age 70 entered into eternal rest on Thursday, March 27, 2014. Long-time companion of the late Louis “Tony” Petraroria; former wife of the late Andre Bitoun. Daughter of the late Rosebud Orgeron. Loving and devoted mother of Bambi Marie Penton (Roger Cote) and Lisa Bitoun-Adelman (Nathan). Step-mother of Michael Watkins (Heidi) and the late Gisele LeBlanc (the late Jerry). Devoted Grandmother of Jonathan Bitoun, Abigail Adelman, Lily Adelman, Shane Adelman (Katie), Maggie Adelman, Scott LeBlanc (Kayne), David LeBlanc, Bryce Watkins and Garrett Watkins. Great-Grandmother of Katherine and Allison LeBlanc. Loving sister-in-law of Patricia and Cesar Castaneda, Carolyn and Donald Yesso, and Diane and Leon Norton. Sister of the late Nolan Marisco, Jr., Marilyn Champagne Marisco, Wayne Marisco, Sr. and Sandra Marisco. Also survived by a host of loving nieces and nephews. Jeanette was born in New Orleans, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. During her life she was the owner of numerous New Orleans landmark restaurants. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Heart Association or American Lung Association in memory of Jeanette. Family and friends are invited to attend the Graveside Services at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 1225 Whitney Avenue, Gretna, LA on Friday, March 28, 2014 at 10AM.
