Jeanne Tardiff Bloomfield

Jeanne Tardiff Bloomfield was born on October 8, 1918 in Labadieville, LA and passed away on April 10, 2016 in Rochester, MN at the age of 97 years. She was the beloved wife of the late Louis E. Bloomfield. Daughter of the late Felix Tardiff and Melodia Peltier Tardiff. Sister of the late Hazell T Bizzell, Phillip Tardiff, and Lynn Tardiff.
She is survived by her son Dr. Eric L. Bloomfield and daughter in law, Dr. Heidi K. Chua both of the Mayo clinic in Rochester MN and two granddaughters, Brooke M. Bloomfield and Gabriella N. Bloomfield also of Rochester MN. She was survived by many Peltier and Tardiff relatives residing in Louisiana. She was a lifelong resident of Gretna, LA but has resided in Rochester MN for almost 9 years. In lieu of flowers, donations in her loving memory may be made to the Sisters of the Living Word ( www.slw.org )
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 701 Burmaster Street (corner Franklin Street) in Gretna on Saturday, April 16, 2016 from 10 AM to 11 AM. A Funeral Mass will follow. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park.
