Jeanne Marie Israel Hart

Jeanne Marie Israel Hart passed away on Saturday, July 14,2012 at the age of 72 years, finally succumbing in her years long, hard fought struggle to simply breathe. She was the oldest daughter of Jeannette Augusta Simison Israel of Mount Vernon, Alabama and the late Norman Charles Israel of Gretna (McDonoghville) Louisiana. Mother of Rebecca Ann Hart (Randy Guidry), Robert Warren Hart, Norman Charles Hart (Gabriella) and Ralph Cline Hart. Grandmother of Barry Keith Hart (Julie), Toni Marie Hart Gaudin (James Douglas), Joshua Robert Hart, Collin William Stolzenthaler. Great Grandmother of Justin, Austin and Phoebe. She is survived by her Mother, her Brother, Norman Boyd Israel (Laura Cochran) and sisters Peggy Lee Israel Doerschuk (David) and Eileen Joyce Israel Correa (John). Also survived by Niece and Nephews. A true New Orleans Lady, she was a lifelong resident of the area, having lived on both sides of the river during her adulthood. She was a 1957 Graduate of Behrman High School, a member of the Algiers United Methodist Church and a retiree of Autozone. Relatives and Friends of the Family, also co-workers from the Westbank Herald, CarQuest and Standard Supply & Hardware are invited to attend the funeral service in the parlor of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 1300 Vallette Street, Algiers, LA on Thursday, July 19, 2012 at 1 PM.
