Jeanne Lecourt Monzon

Jeanne LeCourt Monzon passed away peacefully on October 16, 2022 at the age of 76. Beloved wife of Luis Monzon. Loving mother of Luis M. Monzon (Monique), Frank S. Monzon (Sheila), Rafael D. Monzon (Anne), and Enrique R. Monzon (Ethel). Grandmother of Jessica Monzon Ryan (Shawn), Victoria Monzon Bourgeois (Nicholas), Enrique R. Monzon Jr., Abbey Monzon, Cooper Monzon, Maya Monzon, Myles Monzon & Madelyn Grace Monzon. Great-grandmother of Shawn Patrick Ryan & Charles Michael Ryan. Sister of Suzette Lacour (Brian), Michelle Fiedler (the late Eric), Frank LeCourt (Darlene), and Melanie Arnoldussen. Daughter of the late Dr. Frank J. LeCourt and Ruth Rita LeCourt. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, & other relatives and friends.

Jeanne was born and raised in New Orleans. She attended Holy Name of Mary Elementary and Academy of Holy Angels High School. She attended Louisiana State University. Jeanne was an avid collector of antiques and collectibles. She owned and operated Ages Ago Antiques until she retired. Later, she worked for many years at Magazine Antique Mall where her love for antiques continued. She enjoyed everything Mardi Gras but mostly loved being unruly, care-free and spending time with her grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Boulevard, Marrero, LA on Saturday, October 22, 2022 from 9am to 11am. A Funeral Mass will follow. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park, Gretna, LA.
