Jennie Schiavone Pervel

Jennie Schiavone Pervel, the daughter of Benjamin and Antoinette Schiavone of Philadelphia, Pa. Affectionately known as (Miss “P”) of Algiers Point, she entered her eternal rest April 10, 2013 at the age of 82. The beloved mother of four children, John, Michael, Vincent and Diana. She retired as Teacher’s Aid in 1999 after 26 years of dedicated service nurturing her students. She created a loving and caring environment for her children and students. Proud grandmother of eight grandkids, Richard, Melissa, Mike, Danny, Angela, Emily, Jennifer and Ben along with nine great grandchildren. Coty Marie, Sammy Joe and Shi will miss their M & M treats. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend a visitation to be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 1300 Vallette Street, Algiers, LA on Friday, April 12, 2013 from 5:30PM until 9PM. Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church in Algiers Point from 8AM until 9AM mass with be officiated by Fr. John Arnone. Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. The Pervel family wishes to extend its heartfelt thanks and warmest gratitude to those who have kept Miss “P” in their prayers along with our sister Judy Gail for her watchful vigil.
