Jeremy "JerBear" Roberts

Jeremy William Roberts (JerBear), 45, passed away on October 14, 2024. He was born on July 11, 1979 in New Orleans, LA.

He graduated from West Jefferson High School and was the first male dance team member and Captain. He also attended NOCCA (New Orleans Center for Creative Arts).

Jeremy lived life full of fun, laughter, acceptance, enthusiasm and compassion.

He choreographed “Glitz”, performed at Harrah’s Casino; Dance numbers for Bianca Del Rio; Judged National, State and Local Dance Competitions; and, He was a certified Dance Instructor! 

Jeremy was known as a wonderful mixologist at numerous places, but notably loved Callahan’s, where he was joyful and well received by friends and patrons, alike.

A Member of The Auxiliary at The Fleet Reserve 162 in Gretna, where he held the position of Vice President.

Jeremy LOVED dancing, Karaoke, decorating (for ALL occasions), tennis, volleyball, darts, and creating all types of drinks!

Jeremy is survived by his mother, Vickie Martello. Father, James M. Roberts. Brother, Jason M. Roberts, and his Twin Sister, Jenine D. Roberts-Hamberger, and several nieces and nephews.

The Family is holding a Memorial Celebration of Life on Saturday, October 26, 2024, 12noon at Callahan’s, 2320 Belle Chasse Highway.
