Jerome "Rommie" Lanata, Jr.

Jerome "Rommie" Lanata Jr. passed away peacefully on September 19, 2023 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Linda Friloux Lanata. Father of Anthony “Tony” Lanata (Chris), Lisa Lanata, Donna Heath (Brian), and Thomas Lanata (Bernadette). Grandfather of Nicholas (Amanda), Carly, Madison, Natalie, Savannah, Camille, Julianne, Thomas Jr., Anna, and Gabrielle (Chris). Great-grandfather of Logan and Lily.  Brother of Geraldine Burton (the late Vincent), Janet Schellhaas (the late Sonny), Patsy Barnes (the late Dennis), Peggy Asaro (Eddie), Anna Talley (Weldon), Lenny Lanata, the late Doris Phillips (the late Roy), Theresa Labit, Gail Lanata. Brother-in-law of Brooks Tregre (the late Roy).  Son of the late Eunice Breaux Lanata and Jerome W. Lanata Sr. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Saturday, September 23, 2023 from 9am to 11am. A Funeral Mass will follow in the funeral home chapel. 

Graveside services will be held at Logtown Cemetery in Pearlington, Mississippi on Saturday at 2pm.
