Jerrie Dean Lindsey DiFebbo went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 28, 2012 at the age of 77 years. Former wife of the late Richie DiFebbo. Daughter of the late John Mark and Effie Lindsey. Beloved mother of Matt DiFebbo (Wife Sandy), Paul DiFebbo (Wife Terri), Theresa Ferguson and the late John M. DiFebbo. Survived by 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 2 nephews and 2 nieces. Jerrie was the oldest of 3 sisters, Bess Wolf, Anita Brannon, and Brenda Dawson who will miss her terribly. She was born in DeQuincy, LA and a resident of Belle Chasse, LA for the past 48 years. She was a substitute school teacher at Belle Chasse High School in the late 70’s and early 80’s. She retired from Plaquemines Parish Government Finance Department after 20 years of service. Relatives and friends also employees of Plaquemines Parish Government and Chevron are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Thursday, May 3, 2012 from 6PM until 9PM. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Friday, May 4, 2012 from 8AM until 11AM. Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel on Friday at 11AM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
