Jerry Marvin Hart

Jerry Marvin Hart passed away on March 28, 2023 in Gretna, LA at his home with his family beside him. Beloved husband of Judith Lyle Hart. Father of Jeri Lyn Naquin, Jodi Ann Naquin (Gaston), Jamie Kay Kubiak (Barry), Janette Elaine Anderson (Craig), James Lyle Marvin Hart (Elizabeth). He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin W. Hart, mother, Ollie Mae Wylie Hart and brother, James Stewart Hart. He is survived by his three sisters, Charlotte Hart Crawford (Charles), Diane Hart Banquer (late Irby), and Annette Hart Koch (Howard). Additionally, he is survived by 13 grandchildren: Courtney, Ashleigh, Amanda, Megan, Kacie, Dalton, Joshua, Austen, Kailyn, Sarah Elizabeth, Sara Grace, Michael and Stephen, 15 great grandchildren and many other loving family members and friends. Jerry is a member and past deacon of Calvary Baptist Church New Orleans. Jerry spent most of his working life as a laborer and surveyor in marine construction with Lane & Co. Jerry leaves behind a legacy of devotion to family and friends, a strong faith in his Lord and savior that he freely shared with anyone who would listen. Family and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, Louisiana on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 from 4PM until 6PM.
