Jerry Anthony Ourso

Jerry A. Ourso passed away on September 7, 2012 at the age of 75 years. Beloved husband of the late Mary Joyce Bourg Ourso. Father of Joey Ourso (Brenda), Christopher Ourso, Julie Ourso and Jenelle Ourso Guzman (Oscar). Grandfather of Stephanie, Jeremy, Isabel, Jordan, Reyna and Trenton. Great-grandfather of Faith. Brother of Conrad Ourso and the late Charles “Dudley” Ourso. Son of the late Julia Martinez Ourso and Morris Ourso.
He retired from the U.S. Navy after 23 years of faithful service and was a member of the VFW Post 3121, AMVETS, Fleet Reserve Branch 162 and the American Legion.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at 11 AM. Interment will follow in Gates of Heaven Mausoleum. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6 PM to 9 PM, resuming on Wednesday from 9 AM to 11 AM.
