Jessie Lee Alford Melton

Jessie Lee Alford Melton passed away on December 6, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was 76 years of age and a lifelong resident of New Orleans, LA. Beloved wife of the late Jack Melton. Mother of Gerd Zell, Earl “Peanut” Wall, Daniel Ray Alford, the late Debra Lucas and Elmo Wall. Daughter of the late T.J. Alford and Maude Beeson Alford. Sister of Patricia Provetere, Sylvia Bourg, Barbara Jean Alford Champagne, Max Alford and Wayne Alford, the late Shirley Alford Meldner, Helen Plaisance, Geraldine Alford, Donald Aucoin and James Ray Beeson. Grandmother of Michelle Lucas, Michael Lucas, Daniel Lucas and Daniel Ray Hall. Great-grandmother of Joseph “J.D.” Lucas, Trichelle Lucas, Jocelyn Lucas, Arabela Lucas and Abbie Lucas. Also survived by many other loving relatives and friends. She will be sadly missed.
